If you were unable to attend, you still have the opportunity to become a Certified NC Destination Business by learning on your own through the Destination University library and completing the Certification Checklist (which can be downloaded once you’re in Destination University).
There are seven (7) Certification Criteria to become a Destination Business and in 2024 and 2025, many owners fell short of the goal because they did not complete Requirement #6, creating a Brand Image.
Here is what needs to be completed in Certification Requirement #6:
You must watch the webinar “Zen and the Art of Destination Advertising” by Rich Carraro, OR have listened to a live presentation by Rich. Then, you must email Jon a photo of the Brand Image that your business uses to convey your business uniqueness. Email it to [email protected]”
To help you achieve this goal, Rich Carraro of Clownbike Advertising will be conducting two (2) Live Zoom webinars: One on Wednesday, August 12 and one on Thursday, August 13 and both will be conducted at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time. The length of the webinar is typically between 30 to 45 minutes, not including questions.
If you are serious about having your business become a Certified NC Destination Business, I strongly recommend you attend one of these live Zoom webinars with Rich. It is the easiest way to be able to learn what qualifies for a Brand Image and then, you also have the opportunity to pick Rich’s brain during the Q&A.
