The Schallert Group's Privacy Policy

An open letter from Jon Schallert:

A recent issue of USA Today said it best:  "Like Garbo, Americans Just Want To Be Left Alone".

We understand that feeling.  We value your privacy.  And, I personally understand what it's like when my email address and home address somehow gets distributed to companies with whom I had no intention of being associated.  It makes me furious, and makes me not want to share any information in the future.

So, here's my promise to you:

If you provide my company with personal information through our website, or following one of my presentations, your information will be used only by Jon Schallert and my company, The Schallert Group, Inc.  We do not share this information with any affiliates, other associates, or other companies.  Additionally, I promise not to rent, loan, sell, or distribute your information to any other individual, party, or company.

When signing up for our email newsletter, you will have the option of providing your physical mailing address, with your email address.  We ask for all of this information because we do mail out written material separate from our email newsletter, and without a physical mailing address, we can't mail it to you.  But providing this is solely your choice.

In exchange for providing us your information, I will provide you with information and insights not provided by any other consultant in the country, via my online newsletter and our written releases.

Thanks again for visiting our website.

"Every retail chain executive in the country says they want to become a preferred destination for a consumer. Unfortunately, saying you want to become one, and actually becoming one are two different things. In fact, most chains inadvertently implement strategies that are contradictory to creating customer insistence on shopping their individual locations."
